Baked Apple

This dessert is pretty damn healthy and tastes better than that frozen pre-made apple pie sitting out on the dessert buffet. Be sure to check if your dining hall has a microwave first.

Baked Apple

Ingredients:

1 apple (GREEN is great, RED is usable, DON’T TOUCH THAT YELLOW APPLE)

1 dash of cinnamon (if available. You might find it by the waffle bar.)

1 sprinkle of sugar or a drizzle of honey (optional)

1 dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions:

Slice up your apple all pretty (with that SHARP knife that you brought with you) and place on microwavable plate. If using, add cinnamon and/or sugar and/or honey. Pop in microwave for 1 minute (and keep an eye on it.) It is normal for the apple to sizzle, but if it looks like it might blow up then you probably want to hit the stop button. YUM.
